A birthday in London



As I was always the youngest in my friends and family, getting older it's a weird experience, and doing it away from home can bring out mixed feelings, but in the end is always really good and positive! I got from boyfriend a trip to London and it was an amazing ride! Feels so good to leave the routine from time to time to keep the sanity ;) I loved London for so may reasons and since speaking english makes me feel like I'm home, (yes I know I'm a weird brazilian, hehe), I found myself completely adapted in one weekend, felt like I've lived there for years, amazing! :)

 QUICK TIPS FOR LONDON

TEA TIME AT HARRODS - Some people may want to kill me for saying this, but I loved Harrods and I found it much more chic than the Galleries Lafayette. Touristic of course, but a great place to take a shopping spree, buy some tea and see all the new trends on fashion, decoration, technology. Stop at their tea house at the end of your spree to try out one of their delicious teas - it will help you recover from all the walking.

DRINKS AT THE TOP OF TATE MODERN - What a discover! We went visiting the Tate Modern museum, saw some amazing Dalís and Picassos in person and went to the top of the building to see what their bar/restaurant was all about and, tcharam: WHAT A VIEW! Just promise me you'll get drinks there one friday night, with all the other cool londoners, just made every life sacrifice worth it, haha. 

(OBVIOUS) SHOPPING AND (NOT SO OBVIOUS) LUNCH IN CAMDEN TOWN - The most awaited moment of all was, of course, go shopping in Camden town. All their vintage tents and original shops will drive you crazy! Since you are there already, eat lunch in any of the many many tents around the market, delicious food waits for you!

CLASSIC BRUNCH AT THE BLUES KITCHEN - Found this lovely place just a few minutes from the apartment and had the best english sunday breakfast/brunch ever! great service and good, simple food, perfect way to say "see you soon, Landan" :)

DON'T FORGET THE QUEEN - And last but not least, go see the Queen and all the touristic venues if it's your first time in London, embrace your tourist side! ;)

Mind the gap and don't mind my sleepless figure ;)

Restaurant review: Yuman



A few weeks ago I went to a restaurant right across the street from home at the 13th and it was my first Bio Restaurant. Yuman is a new restaurant and épicerie fine that really surprised me!

Delicious Carpaccio and carrot, ginger and apple juice

 Delicious and fresh food, and also great prices. You can really feel the food is doing good for you! haha All fresh, bio and environment friendly, which is great! Since is just across the house I'll be definitely come back :)

Algumas semanas atrás eu fui a um restaurante na frente de casa no meu bairro e foi meu primeiro restaurante Bio. Yuman é um novo restaurante e épicerie fina que realmente me surpreendeu!
  Comida deliciosaaa e fresca, e também ótimos preços. Você pode realmente sentir que a comida faz bem pro corpo! haha Tudo frescos, bio e favorável ao meio ambiente, o que é ótimo! Como fica do outro lado de casa eu vou voltar definitivamente :)

Inside Ladureé Paris / Ladurée e seus macarons

They don't have only macarons: delicious pastries and a restaurant wait for you inside

Last month I finally had the pleasure to visit Ladurée for the first time and it was totally worth it. It sure is a tourist thing, which I don't have any problem on being sometimes, and it's a great experience! I went with my mom and came back with one of my best friends and had really good macarons from different and sometimes exotic flavors and had the best hot chocolate evah.




If you are in Paris and you're in doubt if whether you should go or not, I recommend 100%, the place is AMAZINGLY beautiful, all in gold and mint (my favorite color since I was a kid), I LOVE their branding, and you feel really important in all that fancy ambiance. About he queue, I did not wait more than 10 minutes for a table. It is Paris Time recommended! hahaha

Ladurée é uma casa de patisserie francesa fundada em Paris em 1862. A reputação internacional que ganhou é principalmente devido a seus macarons.

 No mês passado eu finalmente tive o prazer de visitar a Ladurée pela primeira vez e foi muito bacana. Com certeza é uma coisa de turista, o que eu não tenho nenhum problema em ser de vem em quando, e é uma ótima experiência! Eu fui com mami e voltei com uma das minhas melhores amigas e amei os macarons de sabores diferentes e às vezes até exóticos e tomei o melhor chocolate quente de todos os tempos. Se você estiver em Paris e você estiver em dúvida se você deve ir ou não, eu recomendo 100%, o lugar é incrível de bonito, tudo em ouro e verde-água (minha cor favorita desde que eu era criança), eu AMO o branding deles, e você se sente rainha com toda aquela decoração pomposa. Sobre a fila: Não esperei mais de 10 minutos por uma mesa no café. Selo It is Paris Time de qualidade! hahaha

Look of the day: Is it spring already?

This Sunday the sun decided to come out and it almost felt like spring! It was the perfect excuse to go out and run straight to the park and enjoy the heat on the skin w-i-t-h-o-u-t any coat! Its feels so good :) I went to the Bois de Vincennes , a beautiful park close to my house at the 12th arrondissement. 

Still have to work on my fashion blogger pose :)
