What to wear in Paris in April - Abril em Paris

loves, I had a special request to
talk about April in Paris! So I decided to do a special post (or special posts)
about it : how is the weather, what you should wear, where to eat and what
to visit. This first post will be about what to wear in Paris in the
springtime.
Spring in Paris is that beautiful time when we see those amazing
clichés about the city. It’s such a romantic time to be in Paris, even if
you’re traveling alone, you can feel the atmosphere of love and sweetness. The
whole city is filled with color now: you have all of the cherry and apple
blossoms , beautiful trees, all the green, it’s breath-taking. I cannot help
thinking about the song ‘April in Paris’ (my favorite one it’s the one
performed by Louise Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald, here’s a link) that keeps
playing in my head, reminding me of this magical time in the city while I write:

For us that live in Paris, april has an amazing meaning: The sun comes back and everything is blossoming, it’s beautiful and we can finally go out and sit on a terrace and walk around the city and see all the beautiful parks and gardens. Happiness!
How is the weather in April?
It’s not that hot yet, as in May or June,
but it’s already great to start your day with sun and the atmosphere is totally
different from the winter so it’s a really good time to be in Paris. The
minimum temperature and it’s usually 7°C (44/45°F), and the maximum is around 15°C
(50°F).
What should I pack for April in Paris?
In April we have a lot of rainy days during the month, and the rain usually
comes out of nowhere so, important thing: bring a raincoat. Maybe some waterproof
shoes, and it’s still brisk, so
bring sweaters and warm socks in case the weather changes and you need to keep
warm. Oh, and a little scarf never killed nobody ;) Think about your luggage as a transition: you need to have either stuff to change your outfit during the day: to be warmer or to be cooler. And of course, pack things that are comfortable, and forget the light dresses and skirts for now.

On the other hand you should also bring some lighter stuff like :
jeans, lighter tops and jackets, oh!, and don’t forget a hat and your sunglasses, since the sun’s
back (yay!) they can be really helpful for your morning and afternoon
walks. I prepared a Pinterest board with
some inspirations of outfits you can wear in april and maybe they will give you
an idea of what to bring and what you can wear and not be too cold, too wet
or too warm. Enjoy it here!
Let
me show you an outfit I wore in April here to give you a reference. It's a little grunge style, more autumn like then spring, but it worked for that spring day :) . For me, a Brazilian girl that used to have warm weather all the time, it was
difficult in the beginning of th year but in April it was much easier, the sun
changes everything and if you’re not
brazilian or if you’re used to cold-weather that may be easier for you anyways (haha):

Oi lindezas! Recebi um pedido especial (beijos, Hanna!) para falar
sobre como é Paris em abril, então decidi escrever um especial sobre: como é o
tempo, o que você pode usar, onde comer e o que visitar. Esse primeiro post
será sobre o que vestir em Paris na Primavera.
A primavera em Paris é LINDA. É aquele momento do ano onde você
verá todos os mais lindos clichês sobre a cidade. Tudo é romântico, e mesmo se
você viaja sozinho, você sente um clima leve e tudo é mais bonito, alegria é
contagiante, não é conversa para turista não! A cidade fica toda colorida
e florida, é de tirar o fôlego de lindo!
Para entrar no clima, escute a
musica ‘April in Paris’ cantada na minha versão preferida por Louis Armstrong e
Ella Fitzgerald, aqui vai um link. É ela que veio na minha cabeça quando
comecei a escrever. Pra quem vive em Paris, abril tem um significado
maravilhoso: o sol voltou, as flores começam a nascer e podemos finalmente
sentar na calçada, passear na rua e aproveitar os parques e jardins deliciosamente !
Como é o tempo em Paris em abril?
Não esta suuuper calor, como em Maio ou Junho, mas já temos sol e
o clima é totalmente diferente do inverno, o que faz abril ser uma época
deliciosa para estar e vir a Paris. As temperaturas variam entre 7 e 15 graus,
pode parecer pouco para nós brasileiros, mas ja é beeem agradavel e fresquinho,
não se preocupe, é só se preparar bem para as mudanças de temperatura.
O que eu levo na mala ?
Em abril, temos um monte de dias chuvosos durante o mês, e a chuva
normalmente vem do nada, sendo assim, uma coisa é importante: leve um casaco de
chuva. No Brasil não temos muito esse
costume, eu pelo menos não tinha, mas o Trench Coat será seu melhor amigo em
abril aqui. Botas, tênis e sapatilhas mais resistentes a chuva também são indispensáveis, uma galocha bonitinha seria perfeito! E como ainda esta bem
fresquinho, traga blusas e meias quentes no caso de o tempo mudar e você
precisar adicionar camadas para se manter aquecido. Ah ! Amarre na bolsa
um lenço/cachecol, ele sera totalmente util ! ;) Pense na sua mala como uma
transição: você precisa ter coisas para mudar sua roupa durante o dia: seja
para ficar mais aquecido ou mais fresco. Deixe no Brasil: vestidos e
saias leves e curtas. E, claro, priorize
o conforto, você vai andar o dia todo ;)
Por outro lado, você também deve trazer algumas coisas mais leves
como: jeans, tops e casacos leves. E não se esqueça de um chapéu e os óculos de
sol, já que mesmo friozinho o sol está aqui o tempo todo ! (Uhuu !).
Eu preparei um board no Pinterest com algumas inspirações de roupas que você pode
usar em abril e talvez elas te darão uma idéia de o que levar e o que você pode
usar e não passar nem frio, nem calor J clique aqui !
Coloquei lá em cima a foto de um look que eu usei em abril aqui
para vocês terem como uma referência. É um pouco grunge, mais com cara de outono
que de primavera florida, mas ele funcionou bem para aquele dia, hahaha :).
Para a brasileira aqui, que costumava ter tempo bom o tempo todo, foi difícil
no início do ano, mas em abril ficou muito mais fácil, o sol muda tudo e se
você não é brasileiro ou se você está acostumado com o tempo frio, pode ser
mais fácil ainda para você (haha).

RépondreSupprimerFiquei muito feliz por ter achado voce no insta, agradeço muito por nos contar sobre o clima de Paris em abril, realmente não fazia ideia do friozinho de 15ºC nessa época, eu já estava arrumando a mala com vestidos e shorts :/ haha. Agora vou levar algo mais quentinho, com certeza, considerando que eu sinto muito frio e gosto de estar coberta até o pescoço! Eu nao tenho nenhum Trench Coat e botinha de galocha, voce acha que vale a pena comprar ai?, em alguma loja de departamento, talvez pela época de chuva as lojas em paris coloquem esses produtos na vitrine. Bom, espero poder conhecer voce e tomar um café com macaron ;)!

Oi lindona! que bom que voce gostou!! sobre a galocha, se voce nao quiser nao é realmente necessario! uma bota de couro ja é suficiente! mas traga as alternativas tb, sapatos mais leves! com esse tempo maluco vai que faz um sol maravilhoso ne? haha O trench pode ser uma aquisição legal pra fazer aqui em Paris! Talvez eles tenham ainda opçoes, so que depende da coleçao que as estao expondo no momento, mas uma dica: o que é chato aqui é que nao da pra comprar coisas, por exemplo, de alto verao no verao (eu tive dificuldade de achar biquinis pra comprar aqui bem no meio das ferias) porque eles ja estavam trocando as coleçoes e colocando as de outono-inverno, entao é bem chatinho, tem que sempre antecipar as compras para a estaçao que vai chegar! Mas como o trench serve para praticamente o ano todo, acho que voce consegue encontrar! senao tambem voce pode encomendar online em lojas como a asos.fr que tem de tuuudo e ele entregam no hotel ;) E vamos tentar nos encontrar sim adoraria te conhecer :) me avise quando estiver chegando! bisouss :)
